Gainesville Beer Run 5K

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Gainesville Beer Run 5k. This is being held in the picturesque area just outside of Gainesville at the Town of Tioga following a successful showing in 2012. The race is associated with and benefiting local charities Climb for Cancer Foundation and Harriett’s Helping Hand.
The course will begin in the middle of Tioga Town Center and loop around through the neighborhoods. It is a 5k race that will be chip timed by Start 2 Finish race management.
Race day registration and packet pickup will be from 4:00-5:45 pm Friday outside of World of Beer at Tioga Town Center.
BEER Rules:
All runners 21 and up with a valid ID will receive (2) tickets for beer. You may choose from any of the varieties that will be available. If you wish to buy more tickets they will be sold on site.
Shirts are included in entry cost, but only guaranteed to pre-registered runners. If you register on race day, it will be first come, first served as supplies last.
Top 25 Male and Female finishers will receive a commemorative 1 liter Das Boot to fill with beer of their choice.
Top 3 Males and 3 Females will be awarded prizes (To be announced)

This year, our event will be benefiting two great causes; Climb for Cancer Foundation and Harriett’s Helping Hand, 501 (3)c which assists local cancer patients and their families in necessary costs of treatment and medical care.
