ABOUT THE BAND

Straight from the mountains of North Carolina acoustic folk/indie trio, Cal Olivier & the Fickle Souls are taking music back to its roots, keeping it simple and pure, writing songs about war and love, which, in essence, is the same. The band was founded in late 2011 when singer/songwriter Cal Olivier asked his father, percussionist Ray Olivier, to join his new folk project. Cal Olivier and the Fickle Souls consist of Cal Olivier, Ray Olivier, and Hannah Irene who was added in early 2013 to round off the band’s sound.

Cal Olivier & the Fickle Souls have collectively shared the stage, and studio with the likes of; Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Tommy Tutone, Greg Hawks (The Cars), Rehab, Steel Pulse, Keller Williams, John Paul White (The Civil Wars), along with many more.
